Showcasing artwork that expresses the beauty and wonders of our public lands at the tip of the state of Nevada.

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE!

All Searchlight, Cal-Nev-Ari, Nelson, Ft. Mojave and Laughlin area community members and visitors of all ages:

Send us your favorite original photo, drawing, painting, collage or other 2D art,
inspired by our area’s plants, animals, landscape, night skies, local history or culture.

All the work will be displayed as 4 inch by 6 inch postcards, in one of our three exhibition venues in Searchlight, Laughlin or Las Vegas, or in an online exhibition. You do not need to be a professional artist to participate — you just need to love our area’s public lands!

Share your artwork with us using one of the options below:

Option 1: Email us your digital image files. We will print your work to exhibit.

Option 2: Mail a copy of your artwork to:

Option 3: Deliver a copy of your artwork to the
Searchlight Community Center during regular business hours.
or to the Laughlin Library during regular business hours.

Include the following with your submission:

Name (as you would have it appear for the exhibition).
Contact (email and phone)
A sentence or two describing your artwork (what is depicted and why you chose it).

~All artwork must be received no later than Friday, March 5th.
~Images must be your own original artwork.
~You may submit up to three images. Due to space restrictions, we only guarantee one image will be exhibited, but may include more if space allows.
~Your image may also be used in an online exhibition at spiritoftheland.org, or to advertise the exhibition series in print or online. By submitting your work you give us permission to use your images in this way.
